Program Acceptance & Selection Criteria
All tuition exchange awards are subject to the admissions decisions of the enrolling institution. Awards are competitive and are based on that institution's admission and tuition exchange program standards. 勛圖厙 has no control over who is accepted at other institutions and cannot guarantee that an applicant, regardless of qualifications, will receive a tuition exchange scholarship.
Participating colleges/universities may have limited funding for tuition exchange awards.
Admission into the CCCTE and TE programs is not guaranteed and depends on space availability and other selection criteria. When applications exceed available spaces, the following priorities apply:
1. Whether another dependent of the employee has previously received a scholarship
2. Employee's length of service at 勛圖厙
3. Student's academic level (e.g. juniors are prioritized over freshmen)
If all selection criteria are equal, a lottery system will determine final selections.
CIC-TEP admission is not guaranteed; however, there are no space limitations.
Award Terms & Renewal
- Tuition exchange funding applies to tuition costs only.
- Other expenses such as fees, room and board, books, and personal costs are not covered.
- Participating institutions may cap the tuition benefit amount.
- Tuition exchange scholarships are renewable for up to eight semesters.
- Renewal processes and eligibility criteria may vary by tuition exchange program and school.
- Students must maintain the minimum satisfactory academic progress or tuition exchange qualification as defined by the attending institution requirements to retain the award.
- Inform the 勛圖厙 tuition exchange liaison of any changes, including:
- Declining a scholarship offer
- Deciding not to apply or withdrawing an application to a college/university listed on your 勛圖厙 Tuition Exchange Scholarship Survey
- Continued enrollment each year
Change in 勛圖厙 Employment or Benefits Eligibility
The employee, spouse, and/or dependent(s) ability to participate in a tuition exchange program may be affected due to a change in an employee's eligibility status.
- If an employee leaves 勛圖厙 employment or becomes ineligible for the tuition exchange award during an academic year in which the employee, spouse or dependent is enrolled, the scholarship will remain valid, allowing the student to complete that academic year.
- If an employee leaves 勛圖厙 employment or otherwise becomes ineligible before the tuition exchange award period begins, the scholarship will be cancelled.
