Theology Scholarship
Amount: $1,000 - $5,000 Per Year

Students who have applied to ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas and intend to major or concentrate in Theology may compete for the award.
Students are required to major or concentrate in Theology to receive or maintain the scholarship. Departmental scholarships are applied to tuition. A departmental scholarship may not be added on top of a full-tuition scholarship. Each student may apply for up to two departmental scholarship awards but may only receive one. You will receive an email with the subject "Thank you for applying to ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas!" that has important login information that you will need when completing the .
- Complete the by logging in with your applicant status portal information (see email received after completing admission application). Attach any supplemental material to the online application OR email to admissions@udallas.edu and submit at least two weeks prior to your campus visit and interview.
- Submit a short essay (400-600 words) answering the following prompt: Write an intellectually thoughtful engagement with the so-called .
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your high school or college teacher.
- Submit a CV or resume that includes your contact information.
- Applications will be assessed after the application deadline. Outstanding candidates
will be invited to schedule an interview with a member of the Theology Department.
Renewability Criteria:
The is renewable annually for four consecutive school years, dependent upon the student's academic performance and the criteria stated below:
- Fulfill general scholarship renewal criteria.
- Declare and maintain a Theology Major or Theology Concentration and complete required classes on schedule.
- Complete Moral Theology (THE 3341), which is a requirement for the Major and the Concentration, by the end of sophomore year.
