The housing process (which includes selecting a roommate) will be completed through our eRezLife portal, which you will find in your . Through the eRez portal, a student can fill out a roommate profile, build a roommate group and potentially choose a roommate. You'll also find your housing contract in eRez. For questions, please email studentlife@udallas.edu. In you inbox, the eRez email subject line looks exactly like this: "³Ô¹ÏÍø - eRezLife Campus Housing Program".

If you are a local commuting student, complete the commuter form in . 

If you plan on staying on your parents’ health insurance plan, you will need to complete an insurance waiver form online. Please click .

Once you complete this form, the $1,900 ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas insurance bill will be removed from your account.

Your first bill will be sent to you in early June with payment arrangements due by Aug. 1. To make sure that the charges on your first bill are correct, please make sure to complete the steps below. (You can read all about setting up a five-, four- or three-month payment plan via our Student Account Services page.)

  • Complete the scholarship acceptance form (see "Immediate Steps section").
  • Accept your need-based aid, if available, via by following these instructions.
  • Complete the verification process if you were selected for verification.
  • Optional: After accepting the federal loans in Banner, you will finalize the process by completing Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) at .
  • Optional: Waive the yearbook fee if you do not wish to order a yearbook. .

Get ahead during the summer...

 

After you have graduated from high school, please send your final high school transcript to ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas. This needs to have a date of graduation and an official signature, as well as your final cumulative GPA. (Please know that we will not use your final GPA to reevaluate your merit scholarship).

Your school can email the final transcript to admissions@udallas.edu.

In early June, you will receive a course selection survey. Please respond to this survey right away so that the ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas academic dean can create a first semester course schedule for you. You will receive a preliminary class schedule in early July. For more information, see udallas.edu/freshman-course-selection

When you arrive at orientation, you will have your "final" schedule in your move-in packet and your academic advisor's name. You will have the chance to meet with your advisor during orientation, and then, if needed, you will be able to edit your schedule before classes begin - after arriving at ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas for orientation weekend and meeting with your academic advisor. 

 

 

If you have taken dual credit coursework in high school or a college, please ask the awarding institution's registrar to send official transcripts directly to admissions@udallas.edu.

If you took an AP/IB exam, make sure you have your scores sent to ³Ô¹ÏÍøallas. Here’s  and information on what credit you could earn with your scores. Please contact any undergraduate admission counselor to answer AP/IB credit questions. 

Go to  and log on. Click on 1) Financial Aid box, 2) Offer, and 3) Scroll down to find "Additional Payment Options" 4) Click "Add/View Resource" and fill out the form. You may submit your outside scholarships electronically to our office on the Resources/Additional Information tab. For questions, please call Financial Aid and/or Student Accounts.

An important rule to remember when packing is that if you don't use it now, you won't use it when you get here!

 

Room

Dish set - plate, bowl, cup and utensils
Mini-fridge/microwave - 700 watts max (coordinate with your roommate so you don't bring two!)
Decorative items - photos, posters
Blue or green painter's tape to attach things to your walls
Coffee maker (if desired)
All-purpose cleaner

Bed

1-2 sets regular twin bed sheets
Bed accessories - comforter, pillow
Extra blanket

1-2 towels (don't forget a hand towel!)

Are you flying to DFW, but have too many things to carry with you? New students may ship boxes to campus in advance to pick up when they arrive.  Just be sure to head down to the Printing and Postal Office located in the basement of the Haggar University Center once you arrive, and ask for the packages in your name. Be prepared to show your ³Ô¹ÏÍø Student ID card.  The address is:

The following is a map of area hotels near the ³Ô¹ÏÍø. 

Students are welcome to have their own vehicle and park it on campus. However, students must purchase a Parking Permit through the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Police on-line. (To purchase and register a vehicle; click on the button below) Pay for a Parking Permit with a Credit Card, then pick up the Permit from the University Police Department in Haggar during normal business hours from 8 am – 5 pm Monday thru Friday.

³Ô¹ÏÍø parking policies are available HERE. Vehicles must be in operating condition with current state registrations, inspections and tags in order to be registered on campus. Students will be ticketed if parked in a Visitor Space.

³Ô¹ÏÍøallas Dart StationPublic Transportation

Students without personal vehicles have the option of using the public transportation system. The DART system (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) has a bus route with a stop at our campus. The DART system includes:

  • The Trinity Rail Express to Ft. Worth and Ft. Worth buses to destinations including Sundance Square, the Ft. Worth Museum District, and the Stockyards.
  • The A-Train to Denton, plus all Denton buses.
  • The which serves DFW Airport, Love Field, UT Southwestern Medical District and Parkland Hospital, the American Airlines Center, downtown Dallas, the Dallas Museum District, Mockingbird Station, SMU/Bush Library, Northpark Mall, and more.
  • Connections to McKinney Avenue trolley, Fair Park, and the Dallas Zoo.
